Attorney RAIA HIRSCH
With experience on both sides of the law and more than a decade of practice under her belt, Raia has developed a unique perspective that informs her client-centric values. As a prosecutor she advocated on behalf of women and children. As a criminal defense attorney, she honed valuable experience in litigation and family dynamics. These highly transferrable experiences have recently led her to the practice of family law. Her focus is on contested divorce, civil protection orders, domestic violence matters, and post-decree modification and enforcement.
For Raia, lawyering is about people and relationships, not transactions. She knows no two cases are the same and that understanding her clients’ specific objectives is the most effective way to create a desired way forward. Whether she is addressing assets they have worked their entire lives to acquire or approaching the most precious of issues involving children and custody, she is a zealous advocate who prides herself on relatability and open communication.
In her spare time, Raia enjoys theatre, horseback riding, dancing, and acting as a member on various arts group boards. She can also be found elbow deep in her garden, hanging out with her pup Gandalf (breed(s) unknown), and attending Columbus Blue Jackets games as a season tickets holder.
