Having taken a less traditional route to becoming an Attorney, Liz understands that life can present unexpected and challenging turns. She knows the stress that family matters can create and takes her role in advising clients throughout each phase of the legal process very seriously. In her personal life, Liz has had direct experience with divorce, adoption, and child custody issues. This experience informs her desire to approach such matters with sensitivity and compassion, and she is dedicated to getting results.

Before becoming a lawyer, Liz obtained her paralegal certification and worked within the public sector as a Legal Administrator of a large state agency, reviewing and drafting various types of agreements and contracts with in-house counsel. After 5 years in this role, Liz began to pursue her dream of becoming an attorney. She enrolled as an evening student at Capital University Law School and continued to build career skills by working full-time. While in school, she had the opportunity to clerk for a domestic relations law firm, and since then, has been dedicated to learning and exploring the intricacies of family law in Ohio.

Liz practices in the area of divorce, child custody and support, adoption, same sex family law, and domestic violence protection orders.

In her spare time, Liz enjoys getting outdoors and hiking at a nearby park with her Australian Cattle Dog, Bane, watching college football on Saturdays and rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sundays. She also enjoys trying new pasta recipes, cross-stitching, and spending time with her friends and family.
